This pretty summer top is knit top down, in the round, with slight A-line shaping. An option for adding 3/4 sleeves is provided, making this top a good season transitioning piece. The pattern was originally written for the West Michigan Yarn Quest 2021.

Sizes: S (M1, M2, L, XL). Finished bust circumference: 34.5 (39.25, 42.75, 48.5, 53.5)“/ 88 (100, 109, 123. 136) cm, intended to be worn with 2-3”/5-8 cm positive ease.

Yarn: Malabrigo Susurro (25% linen, 25% merino wool, 50% silk; 325 yds/297 m per 100 g), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) skeins. Approximate yardage: 580 (690, 770, 860, 970) yds/ 530 (630, 700, 790, 890) m. If you choose the 3/4 length sleeve option, add approximately 30% more yardage.

Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) 16” (40 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needles and DPNs (or longer circular needle for magic loop) for cap sleeves.

Notions: stitch holders or waste yarn, stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking tools.

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rnds = 4”/10cm in st st after blocking.
