These socks are worked from the cuff down on four double pointed needles using stranded colorwork. One size fits most (see sizing notes below).
Materials Needed
Fingering weight yarn (1 - Super Fine) in main color (blue) - approx. 100 grams
I used a destash sock yarn, but you might consider Hedgehog fibers Ink sock yarn, or Malabrigo Sock Yarn in Matisse blue, or a similar sock yarn to create the same effect
Fingering weight yarn (1 - Super Fine) in secondary color (white) - approx. 50 grams
I used Schaffhauser Sockwolle in Ecru (50g) x 2 skeins - this is discontinued, so you may have to substitute
U.S. Size 2 / 2.75 mm double-pointed needles
Tapestry/yarn needle for finishing

A Note on Sizing:
As is, this sock pattern generally fits women sizes 8 - 10 and men sizes 6.5 - 9.5
This sock’s finished dimensions sit around 9” inches foot length from heel to end of toes with a fairly generous amount of ease & stretch (up to 1.5 inches foot length stretch). If you need a larger sock, switch to your secondary toe color and work several rows in stockinette before beginning your toe decrease. You’ll want your sock to measure approximately 2.0” inches less than the target foot length (measured heel to toe) before beginning toe decrease.
