After several false starts, I developed this simple design of traveling stitch diamonds. Since plain diamonds felt a little bit too…plain, I alternated columns of reverse-stockinette diamonds and stockinette diamonds with a nupp in the center of each (nupps because I wanted the pattern to extend down the foot, and that many bobbles would be too bumpy inside a shoe).
