This blanket has a lattice work of garter stitch branches that surround a leaf & acorn. It has a garter stitch salvage edge that is worked as you knit the blanket. The inspiration for the design comes from Leaf and Acorn Lace edging The blanket matches the Little Acorns Sweater also inspired by the same vintage lace pattern. The doll in the picture is wearing the Acorn Pixie Sweater This square blanket is an adaptation of the Oak Tree Shawl pattern, which is a circular shawl.
The lace pattern is in both chart and written form. Instructions for the finished blanket are in written form only.
