Fans of Downton Abbey’s amazing fashions, rejoice!

Just in time for holiday gift-knitting, A Head For Trouble: What To Knit While Catching Crooks, Chasing Clues, and Solving Murders (20 Hats & Adornments Inspired by Lady Detectives of the Roaring Twenties) was released in October, 2014. It is available in both electronic and paperback format both here and on my website: www.julieturjoman.com

Knit something special for your inner flapper! Those familiar with the Phryne Fisher mystery series by Kerry Greenwood, or with the televised Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries series on Netflix (Acorn TV) will no doubt recognize this sumptuous head wrap as a perfect accessory for the fearless and ultra-fashionable detective. Brilliant, enterprising, and intuitive, she epitomizes the liberated 1920s woman. This elegant and luxurious head wrap would keep her perfectly shingled black bob in place as she speeds across Melbourne’s back roads in her sleek Hispano-Suiza automobile.
