Pluto Water bubbled from healing springs that the likes of Al Capone and President Franklin D. Roosevelt sought out. This scarf pattern mimics the slow rippling water that flows inside the depths of limestone caverns.
The simple cable design knits up quickly and makes an elegant statement to your chilly days wardrobe. The instructions include both fingering weight and DK weight yarns with one giving a tidy drape and the other standing on its own with more structure. I have included written instructions and a chart for both types of yarns.
Wear this scarf doubled at the neck and held in place by bringing an end flap through the teardrop opening of the other flap. Or be more casual with it flowing down the front of your coat. You can make the end flaps of differing colors or textures of yarn. The instructions and yarn amounts will give you enough length to the scarf to double it at the neck. The fingering design will take one ball of yarn for both the main color and contrasting color. The DK scarf will require two balls for the main color and one ball for the contrasting color for the end flaps.
