This pattern is written for the 54, 60, and 72 slot cylinder for a circular sock knitting machine (CSM).

Ribbing is not necessary, if you know how to do a hem top and a short row heel you can knit this sock.

Rainbow Slices is slightly harder than Slightly Swirled and will take longer to knit.

The original Rainbow Slices was knit for the CSMSA contest in Denver, I used 2 different yarns to make this sock.

Using some of the more vivid hand painted yarn can really get great results especially with Slightly Swirled.

Striped yarn looks very good in Rainbow Slices, but if the stripes are too wide the Slightly Swirled looses some of it’s patterning.

You may need to loosen your tension as you will be knitting the entire sock with the heel spring engaged
