Refract offers two starting points for the exploration of fabric and geometry. Working the oversized scarf version in quick-knitting Quarry results in a beautifully light and airy fabric; the reversible lace motif is reflected down the center of the scarf to produce a striking symmetrical composition. Working the wrap version in polished Arbor results in sleek and springy drape; four columns of the reversible motif highlight its crisp stitch pattern transitions. Simple double moss and garter stitch edge treatments keep the selvedges of both versions clean without detracting from the main body’s bouncing rays of texture.
