The Refract wrap pattern is available for purchase this holiday season as a convenient kit on our webstore. Each kit contains enough pre-wound Arbor or Quarry yarn to knit the project and a digital copy of the pattern, available here (Arbor) and here (Quarry).

Refract offers two starting points for the exploration of fabric and geometry. Working the oversized scarf version in quick-knitting Quarry results in a beautifully light and airy fabric; the reversible lace motif is reflected down the center of the scarf to produce a striking symmetrical composition. Working the wrap version in polished Arbor results in sleek and springy drape; four columns of the reversible motif highlight its crisp stitch pattern transitions. Simple double moss and garter stitch edge treatments keep the selvedges of both versions clean without detracting from the main body’s bouncing rays of texture.
