I started this design, just playing with cable and lace, when I was given a book by a friend written by Maeve Binchy, (I collect them).

This is a cresent shaped shawl.

I hate the colour ‘Pink’… however I liked the feel of this yarn and there were only two choices of colour in the shop, so I went with the one that was best to my eye.

This shawlette is designed to be knitted sideways on, so starting at the right tip and along.

A simple shawl/scarf.

Quite a quick and easy pattern to follow, a beginner can do this pattern but needs to be aware that some stitches are worked together.

Based on Mitred Kites, this shawl/shawlette is made in one piece.
