Knitting: Softies - Other
Yarn used is chunky for the carrot or two strands of dk together. Other bits use oddments of dk. Gauge not critical.
Knitting: Pillow / Cushion
Knit a swatch and calculate how many stitches and rows for 40cm and knit away, some i-cords, legsand arms to sew on. Zip inserted in the bottom. Very simple.
Knitting: Mittens
you could use any aran yarn, with a slightly smaller needle size to obtain a tighter tension which will make for a warmer mitten. I used leftover yarn from a sweater, unfortunately I omitted to weigh them to see how much yarn was used. Knitted from the cuff, uses ssk, k2tog, moss stitch and stocking stitch.

Uses any bright yellow yarn for the skin and a light yellow or cream for the top part. Stitches picked up for the peeled leaves. Gauge not important, just needs to be tighter to stop the stuffing showing.

Uses a lovely slightly variagated yarn for the main piece and small amounts of brown and dark green. Apple is knitted in the round with leaf worked flat. Small amounts of stuffing used. Can be used with any yarn and a smaller needle size. Gauge not important, just needs to be a bit tighter to stop the stuffing showing.

Uses a small amount of brown yarn and stuffing. Gauge not important, needs to be a bit tighter though to prevent suffing from showing. Can use any orange yarn with smaller needle.

Uses small amounts of dark green yarn and stuffing. Kfb, k2tog used. Gauge not important, any orange yarn can be used with a smaller needle size to keep a tight tension to stop the suffing from showing.
Knitting: Doll
Pattern can use any yarn with the appropriate needle size, and a smaller one for knitting the head and hat. Body is worked flat with stitches picked up for the head which is worked in the round. Hat is worked in the round. You could do the head and hat flat and seam afterwards. Small amount of stuffing needed for head.

Knit some lovely animals for a farm, a basic pattern here is adapted slightly to make a sheep, pig or cow. Bellies of the animals are worked flat, with stitches picked up and the body worked in the round. Tension not critical, or is the type of yarn used, just use a smaller than usual needle size to obtain a tighter tension so stuffing doesn’t come out. Lovely vine tomatoes to knit, use any yarn - just use a smaller than usual needle size to obtain a tight gauge to stop the stuffing coming out. The vine piece is a bit fiddly but the end result isn’t too important, just so long as all the tomatoes are joined together.

cute watermelon slices, about 3” by 4” in size with oddments of red, light green, dark green and black dk yarn and 3.25mm needles. Knitted flat and in the round, minimal seaming.
