“El intelectual” means the intellectual in Spanish. Its is named in memory of my father who was constantly reading. These small little books from his library inspired this cozy hat with an allover stranded knitting motif. It is a reminder of his thirst for knowledge and understanding of the meaning of things.

These hats are inspired by the Mayan Huipiles typically worn by women in Guatemala. The motifs used are an interpretation of the huipil that I bought on my last trip there.
