Essentialy a “knit until large enough” pattern - any yarn with appropriate needle size will work. Yardage depends on yarn and needle choice.

Mock Faroese inspired by Hogwarts; it used somewhere between 8 oz and a lb

a very basic reversible cable scarf (hence the palindromic name)

Hap shawl with a “Faux Spanish” centre

a “knit until large enough” pattern - yarn weight and needles appropriate to yarn. The “faux spanish” pattern as a top down double triangle.

Summary Circular lace shawl knit in 32 sections.

Errata: if using round 159 - 172 a second time just knit round 159 straight the second time.

chose a slightly smaller needle for baby blanket; larger for shawl

Shawl can also be made as a double down triangle for half the yardage. 151 rows. Every other row is a plain knit row. Pattern includes options for nupps or beads, or those stitches can be knit plain.

A Circular shawl Inspired by the Traditional Tom BawCock’s Eve Pie of Mousehole, Cornwall, UK featuring “fish eye” lace; “mouse prints”, pi shaping eyelet stars. This sample was knitted in 4ply/fingering weight yarn but other laceweight yarn could be substituted
