Knit in hand-spun laceweight singles to emphasize transitions from one colour to another, this semi-circular shawl embodies everything about the brilliant colours of Fall’s leaves.

A smaller shoulder shawl in two formats, a stockinette shawl with a lace border or an more traditional lace shawl with a beaded border.

First shawl kit in the Shakespeare in Lace Club for 2010! Available via Oceanwind Knits at a later date. Knit in a merino-tencel blend by Wooly Wonka Fibers, with size 8/0 toho beads.

Intermediate-Advanced Lace; worked from the centre-point outwards to lower edge; some stitch-work is performed on the wrong side of the shawl.

This shawl is knitted from the top centre point outwards. Charted lace.

Finished size:

This shawl is knitted from the top centre point outwards. A top-border is knitted as you go. Charted lace.

This shawl is worked entirely in knit (garter stitch with eyelets). It’s designed to stay on the shoulders easily. Because colours can be changed at your whim, arbitrarily, it’s a great way to use up leftover sock yarn. The colour and style possibilities are endless.

Warm up your hands but keep your fingers free. A simple diamond lace pattern jazzes them up.
