My Grandmother taught me to knit when I was eight years old, and she will be celebrating her 80th Birthday this St. Patricks day. Well, I had such a great response from my Lady Finkaa pattern that it inspired me to make them in more sizes. My Finkaas are inspired by our family heritage of Swiss ancestry. I wanted to make a loafer-like slipper/shoe that would portray the heritage that we treasure in our home, and share it with you.
So, my thoughts coming up with these baby boots is that it is very hard to find a pair of shoes out there that really are a newborn size. These boots are teeny and adorable. The finished size of these boots is 3” long. They are a fast and easy project, that can be done in an evening for that special baby in your life.
