I’ve shown the 7” x 7” square in one color (works up quickly) and with multiple colors. Just change the color’s of yarn at whatever round you want to.

This unique optical illusion square isn’t that hard to create. Alternate each center portion of the square so that the illusion starts in a different direction with each square you crochet. A great addition to any swap, exchange or comfortghan.
