This design was inspired by the Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett, in which a beautiful young woman at a certain point wears a ‘cream-lace shawl’. That, of course, had me wondering - and this is what I came up with.

A light and airy summer top, v-necked and with quite a deep back opening. The edges, sleeves and mid panel feature some fishnet lacing, nothing more complicated than yo, k2tog.

Light & airy summer cardigan in silk yarn. Buttons down the front, short sleeves. The bottom edge features a simple lace repeat, all other edgings are in garter st.
