Lorelai’s Cowl is the 4th piece in this series. It features a fun to knit, and easy to memorize all over lace pattern that is inspired by a famous Lorelai Gilmore quote.

These deceptively easy to knit socks are my way of paying homage to the brave flowering bulbs that sometimes push up through the snow here in Northern Michigan. The fun and engaging lace panels create a blooming flower, and the colorway used in the sample is dyed in Michigan and named after a Northern Michigan city.

This lusciously warm cowl was inspired by the yarn that it’s made from. The yarn is 4 DK/Worsted 50yd minis in Michigan raised and milled wool and alpaca in natural colors from Serenity Farms. The yarn called for a design that let the lovely qualities of it really shine.

This quick little wine bag fits most standard size wine bottles. Gauge is not important as long as the fabric is pleasing go with it, the ribbing makes the finished bag very forgiving. Any worsted or aran weight yarn in whatever fiber you prefer will work well for this pattern.
