The Ridges Mittens are worked in the round from the cuff down. It uses the same ribbing pattern as the eponym Ridges Pullover.

Seashells is worked from the top down flat and in the rnd. It features an intuitive, straightforward construction to enhance the textured ribbed pattern of the fabric and the decorative crochet edges at the neckline and armholes. The headband is knitted flat, starting with a Knitted cast-on (which requires sewing at the end of the project) or a Provisional cast-on (which requires grafting stitches at the end of the project). It has I-cord edges and a 2/2 cables stitch pattern on a reverse stockinette background.

DESCRIPTION

Elenore Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. The folded brim is worked using the Double-knitting technique. The body and the crown are worked in 5/3 RIB. The crown is shaped by a decrease in eight points around the hat. The hat is reversible.

Ridges is a boxy crop top that plays around with ribbing in different rhythms, which gives structure to the garment. The loftiness of the Suri alpaca silk yarn enhances the twisted stitches to contrast even more with a sea of smoothing stockinette stitches for the body.
