The minute I saw this photo of the roof of the marketplace in Montreux, Switzerland, I knew it had to become our next Christmas shawl. Created from a gradient yarn that just screamed to be knit in the shapes we see in the photo, this one will rock you.

From out of Norse mythology, Freya rides her cat powered chariot into war and peace. You will find her in the patterning, everything from cat paw prints to hearts in this cable and lace shawl.

Inspiration was received from the much beloved, Gothic soap opera, Dark Shadows. The houses of Collinwood are full of hidden passages, secret panels and fun places to play around in. Inspiration for this design came from Game of Thrones, Season 8, the sea green gown and Dany’s white fur coat with red trim. We loved all the costumes from GoT but they outdid themselves with these two pieces.

For years we have all wanted to revisit our much beloved original Raven shawl with a follow up. After going to Alaska, I fell in love with the Tlingit stories of creation, the Raven begins it all. In Supernatural, end of Season 13 we see Dean fade into the background as Michael the Archangel takes over his vessel. This cute bag is very versatile. Information given for a small bag done in fingering as well as a larger bag worked in worsted. The lettering is interchangeable with both a blank grid and alphabet given to make your lettering changes. The bag can be lined, check my blog for a tutorial in the future.

LOVE these socks, they are perfect summer wear and made to wear with a turquoise outfit for our eldest’s wedding. I have long loved the pattern and wanted to make a pair of socks from it.
