If you like a little more coverage over your tummy and hip areas then this top is just for you. You can create as much or as little “swing” as you wish depending on your preference. You can also make it straight with no swing at all.

This extra long wrap can be styled in a variety of ways. Wear it as a wrap, wrapped around & tied in the front, wrapped around & tied at the back, snuggled around the neck - you choose, it is pretty versatile.

One cake of YarnArt Flowers, or similar cake yarn, will make a wrap approx 37cm x 156cm. The gradual colour changes of the cake yarns make these an ideal choice for this wrap.

This beautiful lightweight shawl is crocheted in sections with 4ply yarn and a 4.5mm hook to make it airy with a fabulous drape.

This generously sized poncho is perfect for those chilly days. I used 850g of King Cole Riot to give a full width of 140cm, front depth of 56cm and back depth of 86cm with a gauge of 16sts and 10 rows to 10cm. I made a narrow neck opening to make it cosy round the neck.

Amy was the very first pattern I designed and remains one of my best sellers.

This is the re-named “For the Love of Amy”. Facebook decided that my original pattern was spam - at least the link was! So in order to be able to put the link on Facebook I have renamed it. Fingers crossed this works.

This is a cosy set consisting of hat, infinity scarf and fingerless mitts/gloves. The scarf can be adjusted to any length - a generous wrap around scarf or a simple cowl. The hat & gloves are sized to fit an average adult.

Is it a shawl? Is it a scarf? Is it a wrap? It’s whichever you choose. This shawl/scarf/wrap is very generously proportioned and has an unusual shape, tapering almost to a point at the narrow end.

Miarly was originally a free CAL released in 10 weekly parts on my Facebook Group AmyJ Designs but is now offered as a paid pattern.

Chelar is a beautiful light lacy wrap with a border embellished with beads (optional). It is a generous 180cm x 63cm size that can very easily be adjusted to make smaller or larger. Perfect for spring/summer in a light yarn or very warm for autumn/winter worked in a double knit.

This wrap is named in honour of a very dear friend who passed away suddenly a few days ago. He was always very encouraging and interested in my designing adventure and he will be sorely missed. This one’s for you Stuart.

This crescent shaped asymmetrical shawl makes an elegant addition to any wardrobe. The blue/purple sample was made with 3 skeins of hand dyed 4 ply merino and is so soft and snuggly and has a wonderful drape.

This large rectangular wrap is worked in double knitting along the short edge with stripes of textured bobbles and more open panels. The generous size makes it just right for snuggling up on those cold days or evenings.

This asymmetric poncho is very quick to make, can be made in a variety of yarns and is very warm and comforting. It is named after a very good friend of mine who has been given this nickname, because being in her presence is like being enveloped in a big warm hug.
