Knitting: Cardigan
Worked from the top down, Fortress features feminine yet bold details. The unique openwork buttonband allows you to add as many or few buttons as you wish, according to your personal preference. The high collar, waist shaping and eye-catching hem add to it’s stylish and modern appeal.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Spring is finally here in Canada and to celebrate, all of my striped shawl patterns are on sale for the month of May!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl is knit from the bottom point, up and out. A very geometric design; one triangle composed of many smaller triangles and lines, inspired by the Dutch artist, Theo Van Doesburg.
Knitting: Scarf, Cowl
Variance is knit in the round with either fingering weight or worsted weight yarn; for a light and drapey or thick and cozy cowl, whichever you prefer. It features garter stitch triangles decreasing into a stockinette background, or are they stockinette triangles emerging from a backdrop of garter stitch? Opinions may vary.
Knitting: Cowl
This bulky weight cowl/capelet is warm, stylish and perfect for the cold weather. You can wear it as a cowl or pull it down, tight over your shoulders for extra warmth, leave the turtle neck up, or fold it over. Made on US 11 needles, it knits up just in time for the next snowstorm.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawlette knits up very quickly using just 160 yards of bulky weight thick and thin yarn. It’s just a basic triangle with yarn over increases and garter stitch edging. I knit mine in an afternoon, sitting outside with my kids….simple and mindless knitting, sometimes that’s exactly what I need.
