The Adelia collection is the perfect cowl and mitts set to keep you warm and cozy on cool days. The pattern includes three variations on one lovely floral and heart motif; a cowl, fingerless mitts and full mitts. I love how soft and delicate the pattern looks when worked in subtly contrasting tones, and then how it turns into something completely fun and funky when done in brighter, bolder shades. Just because the weather is turning cooler doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun with flowers!

eBook : 4 patterns

An e-book with four patterns, each featuring the gradient chevron rainbow that inspired me so much that I just couldn’t stop working with it! The colourwork portion of these designs is deceptively simple, it’s all worked with slipped stitches, so you’re never knitting with more than one colourway at a time. The collection features a ladies cardigan and hat as well as a baby cardigan and hat. Something for everyone!

I designed the Lucky penny Baby Collection for my son throughout the first year of his life. I designed and knit the Keyfit Baby Blanket while I was expecting him. When he was born and we met our little boy I designed his first hoodie! When the weather turned cooler and he needed a hat the Frosted Alpine hat was born. And finally, as a new mom to a baby boy I had no idea I would become such a huge fan of the knit vest! It’s the perfect layering piece for my smart little man.

The slouchy hat is not only a super versatile and flattering style, but it’s also the perfect canvas on which to experiment and play with colour and pattern. The Four Seasons is a collection of designs, each inspired by a season. All 4 hats follow the same set of instructions, it’s just the charts that are different. I’ve chosen to show them all in a colour palette evoked by the season they represent, but feel free to play with colour and mix it up!

eBook : 4 patterns

A collection of four shawl designs, each featuring a different Tanis Fiber Arts fingering weight yarn base. The shawls are all unique, like each star in the sky. Stella is Latin for ‘star’, two shawls are inspired by stars in constellations, and two are inspired by the biggest star of all - the sun!

My Sunnyside Baby Sweater has become my go-to baby gift pattern. It’s simple but has striking details and features a no fuss, top-down construction with minimal finishing. It’s got everything I look for in a nice knit. The only thing it didn’t offer… was an option to knit it in my size! So I’ve gone ahead and fixed that. Voila the Lady Sunnyside...

The Aubade shawl is knit in the round from the center out. It’s a classic Pi Shawl with a few cleverly placed increase rounds and lots of simple knitting in between. I have designed this shawl to be knit in lace weight yarn, using the majority of a 1000yd skein. I also happen to think that it would make a fantastic blanket knit in a heavier weig...

The Bract hat makes the most of a single skein of worsted or aran weight yarn. The design emphasizes the strong lines created by the ribbing that flows from the brim of the hat into the cabled motif all the way through to the decreases. I love how crisply the decreases come together at the top of the hat, creating another layer of graphic diamon...

A great, DK weight hat is perfect for lots of climates. This hat is both light and lacy, yet graphic and hip. The pattern flows seamlessly from beginning to end, starting with the double brim (folded under or over depending on your preference) through the zigzag lace and into the fun star motif that formed by the decreases. Looks great worn tigh...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I designed this hat to celebrate our cold Canadian winters that allow us to sport lots of gorgeous hand knits. This beanie-style hat features lush, all-over cables that make for a warm and cushy fabric. The decreases are integrated into the cabled motif to create a lovely flower shape at the crown.
Knitting: Scarf, Shawl / Wrap
This lacy scarf was designed to use up every last yard of one precious skein of sport weight yarn. The graphic, geometric lace pattern packs a lot of punch! Knit in the luxurious single ply merino/cashmere/silk blend of TFA Red Label yarn, this soft, airy scarf is just the thing to keep the chill away.

A super simple, super fun, basic mitt pattern with an afterthought thumb. Passed down to me by my Grammy, these are my go-to mitts for functional, comfy, cozy winter gear.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The sock features a moss stitch panel that is flanked by two cables running down either side with a twisted stitch detail flowing out of the cuff ribbing.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I originally designed this simple triangular shawl to use a special skein of handspun, then modified the size to use a full skein of multicoloured fingering weight yarn. The pattern is very simple, I combined a few of my favorite shawl construction elements, added some texture, a graphic border and voila! A shawl was born.
Knitting: Cowl
A perfect one skein project, this cowl knits up with one skein of Green Label Aran weight yarn, has a really cute bobbly all over texture, and is the perfect way to display some precious pearly buttons (or whatever kind of buttons you fancy, they don’t have to be pearly!)
Knitting: Baby Blanket
I designed this baby blanket to show off a wide range of tonal yarns. It’s knit in 1 piece with 1 seam to sew at the end. As it is a blanket, gauge is not crucial. At a DK weight, the finished blanket is 34” square. It would look lovely in an endless amount of colour combinations. I used 8 colours for my version, but I think that it ...
