The Adelia collection is the perfect cowl and mitts set to keep you warm and cozy on cool days. The pattern includes three variations on one lovely floral and heart motif; a cowl, fingerless mitts and full mitts. I love how soft and delicate the pattern looks when worked in subtly contrasting tones, and then how it turns into something completely fun and funky when done in brighter, bolder shades. The sock features a moss stitch panel that is flanked by two cables running down either side with a twisted stitch detail flowing out of the cuff ribbing.

I originally designed this simple triangular shawl to use a special skein of handspun, then modified the size to use a full skein of multicoloured fingering weight yarn. The pattern is very simple, I combined a few of my favorite shawl construction elements, added some texture, a graphic border and voila! A shawl was born.
