The “In Giardino” shawl is knitted sideways, it has a crescent shape made with short rows. This shawl features easy lacy motifs.

The Arabeschi shawl features harmonious arabesques and lacy cables. It is knitted sideways, and shaped with short rows.

“Fiori Incantati” is the Italian for “Spellbound Flowers”. The Fiori Incantati Cowl is worked back and forth, it is composed by four sections worked in brioche stitch and four narrow sections which feature lacy floral motifs. The cowl starts with a provisional cast on, and the sts are grafted.

Some members of in tiziana’s corner group had the idea of a read-along/knit-along: the idea was to knit together the same pattern while reading a book related to the design.

The Grand Plié cowl is worked in the round, and it features two groups of three folds made with yarns in two different thickness and colors.

The Prato Fiorito cowl is worked in the round, and features a central insertion with lacy Estonian flowers. It is worked with two yarns with different weights (sportweight and laceweight) and colors.

“Altered Course” shawl is knitted sideways, and can be worked either in a single color or two colors.

The “Soul of Two Seasons” shawl is a delicate asymmetrical shawl inspired by the spring and winter seasons. It begins at the smallest corner, the upper portion represents spring with graceful, meandering branches and blooming flowers. The lower portion represents winter with a variety of stylized snowflakes.

The shawlette is worked top down from neck to bottom. It has an unusual construction: the top part is done as a triangular top-down shawl, but the work continues with short rows to give it the crescent shape.

Angus is the name of the Celtic god of youth , beauty and love but, more related to this shawlette it is also the name of the handsome cat living with one of the two very talented knitters who did test knit this design. As soon as Angus saw it finished , he took possession of it, clearly stating “ This is MINE !” .
