My name is Maria Eco and I am the designer behind the company Sartorial Knitting (Instagram: @sartorialknitting).

I was taught my first knit and purl stitches by my grandmother. I still remember her, working by memory a stitch pattern she used years ago, when she was pregnant to my father. I can only feel grateful for the wealth of knowledge that is passed from one generation to the next, gifting our wands with magic power.

Through the years, knitting has become a personal journey, a way to express myself through the creation of forms and textures that translate into knitwear pieces. These pieces are meant to be worn, enjoyed, and filled with precious memories.
