Previous Work:

I spent 5 years managing the crochet site for About.com (back when it was owned by the New York Times Company.) Before that, I worked as a textile designer and design department manager for textile companies in the fashion and home furnishings industries. In addition to crochet and knitting patterns, I have designed knits, prints, wovens and embroideries. I also taught college-level textile design and trend forecasting classes. I’m a design school graduate with a major in textile design. I also have a liberal arts degree.
