My Kind Of Sweater is worked from the top-down seamlessly. The construction of the top section is through a circular yoke and raglan style increases. When I first created this hat, my daughter was about eighteen months old. As you know yourselves, little hands are always busy and like to pull hats off, even though the temperature is below freezing outside. Thus, a solution came to mind – the hat needed ties! So I got creative, and this is how the hat came to be designed.

“My Honey” is the first design in my “Spice Girls II” series of cardigans that aims to bring out the sweetness and simplicity in everyday wear.

The skirt is worked entirely in the round from top down. It begins with a provisional cast on, which is used to allow for a knitted on waistband. There are two distinct sections in the skirt construction: a top portion that features a kangaroo pocket, and the bottom part that features ruffle upon ruffle.

The pants are knit entirely in the round. Each leg begins separately with a crochet-chain provisional cast on, which is used to allow for knitted on hems. Then crotch stitches are set aside (to be grafted later via Kitchener method), then legs are joined to form the body, which is then knitted up to the waist.
