This cap will be stretchy so it fits most female heads. But, it is easy to increase or decrease by 12 stitches for an additional pattern repeat or by reducing the basic repeating pattern rounds by deleting one k2tog, yo so you would have 3 on the 1st round and 2 on the 3rd round of the pattern..
Knitting: Christmas Stocking
This is a custom designed pattern for my daughter-in-law Jill. She requested me to knit 14 of these for her sons and their families as well as she and my son. Such fun designing these and knitting them. She bought the yarn and I provided the design and the knitting so it was our gift to them all. Joyful!

The border is a modified Linen Stitch which works well since it has little give or stretch. Since this is a bath set, this border is important because it will not sag when wet.

In the pattern. I give you the choice of either Double Wrap & Turn Heel or Gusset Heel for this sock but you can, of course, use any other heel that suits you. I also use Fortissima Socka Reinforcing Yarn on the heels of wool socks and a strong cotton crochet thread for non-wool blends.

I used Caron Simply Soft 100% acrylic in Mango colorway. These are really fast to make so you still have time before Halloween.
Knitting: Potholder
These Awesome Felted Oven Mitts knitted with Bernat Natural Felting Wool are so thick they protect your hand even when removing a very hot iron skillet from the oven. I’ve made dozens of them for friends and family and ALL agree they couldn’t live without them now that they’ve used them. Spot clean or hand wash & air dry. !!!!BE SURE NOT TO...
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This mock cable is a 10 stitch, 8 row pattern. The yarn I used is really too strandy for the crossover (mock cable) stitches. I recommend a tighter twist yarn although I love the final product using the bamboo/nylon yarn that I used. It was just too hard to keep from splitting when doing the mock cable stitches.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Pattern adapted from a swatch in Harmony Guide to Knitting Stitches Vol 1 (1980’s). I have included both wrap & turn short row heel and gusset heel instructions. I used wrap & turn on mine because I reinforce the heels for longer wear. I knit 2-at-a-time from 2 skeins of yarn. I have included charts for increasing or decreasing the size...
