Crochet: Cowl
This is an easy level pattern with only the basic crochet skills needed to make it. I did add an interesting twist with one stitch that makes it a little more interesting and adds to the texture and beauty of the piece. The piece is made flat and them ends are flat seamed together, with a half twist to make the cowl drape nicely when worn. When...
Crochet: Scarf
This easy & beautiful, long, reversible scarf requires 2 colors of worsted weight yarn. I love the rich look my combined colors have, and you can use the same colors I used or choose your own colors and favorite type of worsted weight, one 4 oz skein of each different color.
Crochet: Cowl
This is a beginner level and up pattern, using a combined basic Filet Mesh stitch and the crochet method called Colorblock. Colorblock uses multiple colors, usually 3, and my 3 represent our favorite local college football team, the S.C. Clemson Tigers. They won the ACC Championship game in 2015 and were 5 points short of being the National Cha...

Crochet: Cowl
This cowl is an advanced beginner and up pattern worked in rounds. Not at all hard, it uses a lovely special stitch I call a triangle puff. You’ll love this piece that looks complicated but is only a 2 round repeat.
Crochet: Cowl
This cowl uses a crochet stitch called stockinette that gives it more of a knitted look. The Lion Brand Chunky USA is Amish Black, soft, perfectly stretchy while not too much, a pleasure to work with. The twist of the yarn strand makes for good stitch definition in this chunky type that has a lightweight feel to it.
Crochet: Cowl
This unique chunky piece contains a special but easy stitch that I designed by combining 2 basic stitches, which is a first for me! I described how to make it really well in the pattern.

Crochet: Cowl
This is a pretty cowl that goes from day to night and be casual or classy. I feel we all need several colors of a piece like this in our accessory wardrobe. I love the Lion Brand Heartland, it feels a little thinner than worsted, a good thing, and the cowl lays well.
Crochet: Cowl
Use any worsted weight. I made 3 color sections in this infinity scarf, each section having 8 rows of sets of different stitches in this color block infinity, giving each section it 24 rows.
Crochet: Cowl
A button attached to the back to hold the cowl on, and the right size fits nicely through the stitches. You can wear the fringe on the side or in the front.

Boucle is a wonderful yarn that many pass up thinking that it’s too hard to work with. Others already know the beauty it can produce! I took on the challenge with crocheting with it and tried various stitches and hooks, and had great fortune, learning that Boucle is a super soft, affordable yarn. It can make many additions to your wardrobe as w...
Crochet: Cowl
There are many different kinds of Boucle, and while they’re somewhat similar, their differences are the important parts. I had a huge, beautiful, silky, very dark blue skein of Boucle with lighter blue highlights throughout the skein, but it had NO LABEL on it for me to tell you the name of it! This pattern was made with it, among others.
Crochet: Cowl
This lovely super soft infinity scarf is 7” wide X 21.5” long, and gave me exactly the special look I wanted when I used the whole skein of Red Heart Boutique Infinity yarn, all 129 yards of it, and the length of the scarf is perfect! It’s considered to be a ‘roving’ yarn, which I’d never worked with before.
Crochet: Headband
The Willow Headband is a lush, super soft piece that is a quick work up with 5 rows for a medium width. Hobby Lobby’s “I Love This Yarn” is a super soft 4 ply medium worsted weight yarn that is perfect for a comfortable piece! The color is Spring Willow, thus the name of both the headband and it’s matching Willow Wrap in a separate pattern.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Willow Wrap is a beautiful wrap you can wear most of the year. It is a lush piece, and this Hobby Lobby’s “I Love This Yarn” color called Spring Willow is a super soft 4 ply worsted weight that is perfect for it. I used at least about 2 1/2 skeins out of 3, each being 252 yds per skein.
Crochet: Cowl
This is an infinity scarf of 40 rows long, or longer if you use more than one 3.5 oz skein of Bernat Bargello used in the pattern. This shiny yarn is really beautiful, like a satiny tube-like yarn gliding thru your hook with ease.
