Knitting: Pullover
Jane is a fun, striped, retro-style sweater that was inspired by the oversized pullovers from 90s fashion magazines. You can stay with the same color palette of striping that is shown, or choose your own color scheme. This is a great way to stash bust leftover yarn from other projects!
Knitting: Pullover
I designed this simple lightweight pullover to be worn on warmer spring or fall days. I chose a cotton blend yarn to keep cool on the skin yet provide a comfortable coverage —great for hiking or outdoor activities. A lightweight worsted yarn would also work if the knitting gauge is the same.
Knitting: Cardigan
I love the cozy oversized fit of this casual cardigan. The longer length allows it to be worn with leggings or as outerwear for spring or fall days. Moss stitch adds an element of luscious texture and depth to the fabric.
Knitting: Pullover
What a perfect way to spread the message of love! This sweater is knit in one color and the heart pattern is embroidered on using the duplicate stitch. I enjoyed this method for the extra thickness and dimension of the heart. It would be really fun with a textured or eyelash yarn or multiple colors or variegated yarn.
Knitting: Poncho
I designed this poncho as an easy adaptable knit for multiple body sizes and shapes. The piece is worked from the top down and uses simple increases with a centered cable on both the front and back. The chunky weight yarn makes it very warm, so it can be used as outerwear on a cool day or a cozy garment to throw on during a winter day inside.
Knitting: Pullover
I designed this easy little crop pullover for my daughter. The short length is perfect for wearing over her leotard to ballet class and looks stylish with high waist jeans or over a dress. The short midriff balances out well with the long balloon sleeves and mock neck collar. We chose this fuzzy eyelash yarn, but any bulky weight yarn would work.

Crochet: Beanie, Toque
I love the look of chunky oversized crochet hats, especially on cold days in late fall and winter. The cozy double thickness of the crochet stitch, along with the bulkier weight yarn provides an extra layer of insulation. Because of the larger stitches, this beanie works up quite quickly.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I designed this easy knit for those early autumn days, where the air is cool in the morning and warm by afternoon. The slender long shape and lightweight yarn allows it to be worn long over the shoulders and arms as a shawl, or wrapped around the neck as a scarf.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I love the look of textured knits and oversized beanies. This hat is the best of both worlds! The brim is knit in a tight rib on smaller needles, then relaxes into a larger sized body. With a simple 2 row repeat, you may wish to add less or more length than the recommended height. Paired decreases allow the textured pattern to remain throughout...

Some winter days in the Midwest require a little extra warmth. I designed this hat during a brutally cold sub-zero week just for that reason.
Crochet: Throw
One thing I remember about my grandmother’s house was all of the beautiful crocheted blankets she had draping across the furniture. She was an avid crocheter that took her yarn and hook with her everywhere she went. I designed a simple modern granny square in honor of her, that showcased my lifelong love of black and white.
Knitting: Scarf
What is it like to be insomnious? Imagine drifting in and out of sleep, enjoying moments of unconscious bliss and lucidity - then being pulled wide awake into unending waves of thoughts. That’s how I describe my nights of wakefulness. The twilight is quiet and dark but my mind is loud and illuminated, occasionally igniting an artistic spark. So...

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
One thing I love about knitting are the structures and dimensions that are formed when working with something as flexible as yarn. How can I make something appear to be so ridged yet soft and flowing? For this design, I envisioned an intricate cable panel to be the strong central foundation for an otherwise simple draping shawl.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Who doesn’t love the look of cables? This hat features a braided cable on each side for an eye catching, yet simple design. The braided motifs create a ruched effect and with the extra long length - it makes a modern, fashionable slouchy beanie.

There is something majestic and awe-inspiring about a Spring storm. One of my favorite pastimes is taking photos of a frontal line as it creeps across the Midwestern fields. The horizontal roll clouds and blocks of vertical rain shafts collide to create a visual masterpiece.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I designed this pattern after a late winter snow was followed by an ice storm. Tiny ice pellets covered the ground and capped over the deep snow. When my kids walked over the ice, it crunched and broke through to the powdery snow below, leaving hollow holes on the surface. The contrasts of hard and soft, multiple icy textures and footprint moti...
