DESIGN INSPIRATION

Inspired by Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry Viii. A practical interpretation of her Tudor dresses represented in her portraits with its square neckline, pearl beading on the neckline, oversized bishop sleeves, a lace leaf panel, feminine shaping, and peplum to suggest the skirt of the dresses.

Inspired by autumn – a cosy V-neck cardigan with elegant, cabled edges and a comfortable yet feminine slouch, for when the nights are drawing in.

A romantic feminine blouse. With a square neckline and long billowing poet sleeves. Inspired by summer nights befit for a delicate airy blouse.

A Victorian inspired blouse. With a high cabled collar, puff shoulders, cabled sleeves and a flared waist. Elegant and feminine, as the fashion of that time, it accentuates the feminine form but with a modern practicality.

The Constance Collar is a Victorian inspired cabled Collar. Knit top down in the round with the option to knit flat. She can be knit pearled or plain.

The inspiration – La Belle Ferronnière

Inspired by Tudor fashion and the luxurious dresses, with her feminine square neckline, exuberant exaggerated sleeves, ribbed cuffs and a lace weight peplum to allude to the skirt of the dresses.
