My mother taught me to knit when I was young, and I made the predictable array of doll blankets and such. I have few memories of my mom that don’t involve a cup of coffee and some knitting–so when I was looking for a hobby a few years after she died, knitting seemed like the most natural thing in the world.
Now, nearly 10 years later, I have enough yarn to keep a small village warm and a passion for well-fitting sweaters. I’m sure my own kids’ memories of their childhoods will be saturated with wool. Which is just how it should be.
In 2009, I started designing for others. My taste runs to the tailored, clean, and soft to the touch. I’m passionate that my sweaters fit and flatter my form, and that my patterns are easily modified to fit and flatter yours. You can find more information on my designs by visiting my website or my Rav store. I also write the “Fit to Flatter” series of tutorials.
I hope you like my work, but I’d love to hear from you either way. Please feel free to write with questions or comments at firstname.lastname@example.org’s a more reliable way of getting in touch with me than Rav pming.
