As a designer and a knitter, I’m attracted to texture and clean lines. I’m fascinated with slipped stitches and folded hems. I love color! I also love a challenge, be it a new stitch pattern or technique, but I don’t like things so complicated they make me cry. Knitting is supposed to be fun, not stressful!
It’s my hope that my designs reflect these beliefs and present a picture of who I am as a knitter and designer. I take inspiration from everything--music, books, classic and modern television, video games, the world around me--but amongst the cacophony of sources of inspiration, the designs you’ll find here represent the core of everything I believe knitwear can be.
(I also don’t believe in garter stitch by itself. When it’s paired with another textured stitch, it can be pretty, but by itself it just annoys me.)
