Crochet: Cloche Hat, Beanie, Toque
I crochet loosely so I found that a 4.5 mm crochet hook works best but others may find that a 5.0 or a 5.5 mm crochet hook will work better…
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
Because you just shouldn’t wear white after labor day….or when you have to kill something. :-P
Crochet: Afghan block
Really, you can use any yarn size and any corresponding hook size. I just used worsted weight and the appropriate hook for the example.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
This can be made with any gauge yarn and any size crochet hook. Obviously, for something that looks more like the lace that Lisbeth wears in the photo, you’ll want a finer gauge yarn. I worked up my example in size 10 crochet thread, but I would really recommend something even finer…perhaps size 20 crochet thread.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
The written example of the lace pattern makes a medium sized fingerless glove. The Lizbeth thread was the only size 20 thread I could find on short notice but I would recommend something softer for a glove since it’s a bit scratchy on my hands.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
This is a modified filet crochet lace pattern. It is only version one of the intended lace and hopefully there will be more versions as I figure out how to make the lace look as I wish it to. :-)
Crochet: Scarf
One ball of the superwash cashmere merino will make an approximately 35 inch scarf with about 9 yards of yarn left over.
Crochet: Jewelry - Other, Necklace
I just love the movie Ink…So I thought I’d make one of the accessories worn by Allel.
Crochet: Neck / Torso - Other, Collar, Necklace, Jewelry - Other
I’m not entirely happy with my first True Blood Choker…so this is attempt number 2. Hope this one looks better than the first.
Crochet: Chart
Any yarn and any hook can be used for this pattern.
Crochet: Jewelry - Other, Collar
You will need two skeins of each color.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
The finished product from the pattern as is, is approximately 2 inches in diameter.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
I’ve been playing around with the idea of crocheted mehndi recently and I thought this kind of looked like something that would ward off the “evil eye.”
Crochet: Chart
I thought this could be used as a patch or part of a larger project.
Crochet: Decorative - Other
In the first row it says at the beginning “SC in second CH from hook and in next 4 CH stitches,” This should be done in the back loop of the CH. I will make this change in the download as well.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
I love the stark black and white look of White Anemone flowers. So I thought I would make one. As an added bonus…it glows in the dark. :-P
Crochet: Floral block
Change the size of the motif by changing yarn weight and/or hook size.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
Crochet Hook Needed: 4.25 mm
Crochet: Scarf
I had a friend ask for a caution tape scarf because she had seen one being sold online. I checked online and on Ravelry and found knitting patterns: (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/knitted-police-tape)
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
you could make a smaller or larger version by changing the weight of the thread/yarn and using a different hook.
Crochet: Necklace
As soon as I get it typed up, the pattern will be available for free.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
Love him or hate him as a person….he made great music and had cool style….I think gloves are the perfect way to honor the passing of a music giant. RIP Michael Jackson.

Crochet: Chart
This is meant be a snakeskin print that can be used for knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, or whatever pleases you. I think it could look really cool as fingerless gloves or felted.

Crochet: Legwarmers
Directions for modifying the size and for the individual lace motif are included.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
It will be easy to make these larger or smaller by adding or deleting a few rows of HDC at the end of the pattern. If you want to make the gloves longer, I would suggest doing it in multiples of 6. You can also try doing this in SC only with the same lace pattern to get a more “closed look” on everything except the eyelets.
Crochet: Beret, Tam
should be fairly easy, when you look at the pattern, to modify it to fit a different sized head.
Crochet: Bracelet
The pattern is pretty self explanatory and it should be pretty easy to tailor it to your size. The bangle itself is about an inch to an inch and a half wide. It’s hard to tell from the pictures but that’s the size.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
Make sure to read the notes at the bottom on how to change the size of the pattern.
Crochet: Containers
The pattern is easy to tailor if your stitches end up being bigger or smaller than mine. You can see how big the circle/disk is in comparison to the CD. If your gauge works out different than mine…just crochet the disk/circle until it’s the same size as mine and then make all the others the same. The directions after that would not change excep...
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
Any size can be obtained by changing the yarn weight and hook.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
I couldn’t find a tiny flower that looked exactly right though I did like Teresa Franco’s pattern found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crochet-mini-puff...
Crochet: Ring
I was inspired by the floral cocktail rings that Victory Ford wears on Lipstick Jungle. Any size can be obtained from this pattern since you fit the ring to you as you go. However, the size shown is approximately a woman’s 8.75.
Crochet: Balaclava
You could try adding more detail work to make it more Cthulhu-y. My friend suggested horns and I thought maybe black detailing around the eyes.
Crochet: Costume
You can embroider whatever you wish onto the badge. I would suggest a name or possibly a badge number. If it is to be part of a gift for a police officer you could possibly embroider the initials of the agency that he/she works for.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
This was meant to echo the floral motifs prominent in Iroquois beading. You could make a smaller flower that could be used as applique on smaller items by switching to DMC crochet floss and a smaller hook.
Crochet: Accessories - Other
You can make this bigger or smaller as suggested in the size notes in the pattern.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
This was inspired by the hospital bracelets worn by “Gabriel” aka Tilda Swinton in the movie “Constantine”
Crochet: Necklace
In honor of Quantum of Solace premiering today, I give you my version of the Algerian Love Knot that was featured in Casino Royale. It can be used as an applique if you wish but I designed it to be a lariat style necklace.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
Soo…I needed black gloves for work…because despite San Diego getting hot in the day…It’s still pretty cold at night…especially since I work outside. :-P I needed them to be mostly work appropriate but I wanted to punk/rock them up a little bit. While I was thinking about how I wanted them to look, the AC/DC song “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” wa...
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
The size shown is a woman’s XXL…it’s for a friend. But I listed alternate sizes in parenthesis and/or brackets. Also, the purple part of the cuff folds back for more styling options.
Crochet: Button
Any yarn and any hook can be used for this pattern to make buttons in all sizes, colors, and textures. Have fun dressing up your projects with your own buttons or creating buttons on the fly when you don’t have any handy. :-)
Crochet: Billed Hat
I crocheted this pattern to fit my head (about 21 inches in circumference) but it should be fairly easy to add a few stitches to make it bigger for larger heads. If need be, just add one or two more rows when making the crown of the hat (following the stitch pattern to it’s logical conclusion) and then adjust the stitch counts after appropriate...
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
Once you figure out how the stitches fall on your hands you can add or remove stitches as necessary to make them fit your hand better. I basically charted this pattern out on graph paper before writing it out. I may just write the chart out as well and offer that a a pattern option or add it as a picture to this pattern. :-)
Crochet: Throw
My boyfriend is 6’2” and as such, has a hard time getting a blanket that’s big enough for him…so I thought I would make him one. And since he is norwegian, I thought it was a good time to use a norwegian cross. Your colors are your own to pick. You need 2 (one in the blue range and one in the cream/white or black range)…technically it would be ...
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
These can be made with any color you desire and because the stitch counts are fairly simple…can be tailored to fit anyone’s hand. Just keep track of where you make changes in the stitch count and be sure that those changes trickle down to the rest of the pattern.
Crochet: Chart
This is a PDF Chart of a basic soaring crow….it can be used for any type of project but I will most likely use it in tapestry crochet….
Crochet: Chart
This was, of course, inspired by the television show “The Mentalist”…(who could resist sexy simon baker)…..it can be used for any method using a charted pattern but since I mostly crochet, it is done in tapestry crochet.
Crochet: Chart
This was inspired by the opening credits for the tv show “supernatural”…I really liked the flapping wings effect along with the red lettering. :-) It can be done in any style using a charted pattern but I crochet so it will be done in tapestry crochet.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
This pattern is fairly simple and worked in rounds. I especially liked that the petals can be molded to look however you want them. I chose flat petals with a star shape in the center. I also thought it might look very pretty with a decorative button or jewel sewn to the center. I envisioned a larger jewel or button so that i could hold the pet...
Crochet: Ornamental Flower
I needed a tiny Hibiscus flower for another project I’m working on and couldn’t find a pattern anywhere…so I whipped this one up. It is VERY tiny but could be very useful in terms of decorating things.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
Use whatever color combos you fancy…I just liked the ones in the pattern for a more realistic feel. You could also try using a feltable yarn and felting the applique…OR you could use a smaller hook to make the applique smaller and the stitch tighter.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
I made this pattern up on the fly…but I liked it so much that I had to write it down. Enjoy. As always, feel free to use the pattern but please credit it to me if you do. :-)
Crochet: Hats - Other

Crochet: Headwear - Other
The gauge for this pattern doesn’t really matter. Although, if you find it crocheting too big or small for your face, just switch your hook size. Also, you can go up a hook size and crochet two strands together for more structure. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER STUFF the bits you stuff with polyfil.
