Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Aren’t you all just tired of this cold, wet, dreary weather? This winter has been rough on most of us! Let’s all take a breather from heavy wool knits and relax into summer with a new, fun, LIGHT AND LACY mystery knit-along. This shawl worked in a gorgeous blend of yak and silk is just what the doctor ordered! Don’t forget to join the Bijou Basi...

There are times as a knitter when you want to knit a quick, mindless project. Something with just enough pizzazz that you don’t end up bored to tears. But I also wanted to make it fun so I used several colors of yarn and made random stripes. You could also just use a hand-dyed yarn instead.
Here comes autumn with its brisk winds that get just under your collar and give you a chill. One needs a nice collection of cowls to ward off these chilly breezes. Knit up as many as you can, in as many luscious yarns as you can. They’re super quick to knit on those 16” circular needles!
Whether heading to class, to the office or to the movies, this cardigan will keep you cozy and warm. Tuck your lip balm, ID or $20 into the front pockets if you don’t want to carry a handbag. The generous shawl collar hugs the neck nicely and keeps you toasty.

When I first heard of this yak/bamboo blend from Bijou Basin Ranch, I was curious to know what it felt like. When I finally held a skein, I was amazed at the softness of the yarn despite being 75% yak, a fiber known to be itchy. I knew this yarn would make a perfect cap that would hug my head as it would feel silky on my forehead instead of scra...
Beautiful lace cowls and scarves are wonderful additions to anyone’s collection of accessories. These look great with just about anything you wear. From jeans and a t-shirt you wear to the movies to a suit you would wear to work, a knit lace scarf or cowl is great to have handy.

ETA: This pattern was originally meant to be a for-sale pattern, but I would like to dedicate it to all of my fellow LSG members who really know how to offer a virtual ear when needed. The members of that group are the best support group one can ever have. THANKS HEFFAS! I LOVE YOU ALL!
Knitting: Strapless Top
Summer is here! A time when knitters put away the wool and cables, and pull out the lace and lighter yarns. This pattern combines the use of a beautiful, smooth cotton yarn that glides through your fingers and an easy to remember all-over lace pattern. Its wide range of sizes and its flowing design makes this a sexy top for any Fabulous woman. T...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Lately I find myself knitting more baby things than expected. My friends are popping out babies left and right. This particular blanket is dedicated to one of my bestest buddies. I do not need to tell her who she is. She knows how much her friendship means to me and how much I text her when I can’t find her online for my daily dose of BFF! Here’...

Here’s a slumber cap that will stay put as you sleep. Make it small for a cute bun net or make it large to fit tons of curly hair. If you need it extra, extra large, use a needle one size larger than those specified in pattern (ie: if a section calls for a US 5, use a US 6 instead).
This cute little cardigan is knit entirely in the round, seamless, in just a few hours. Using less than 1 skein of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in each color, it makes a great, affordable last minute gift for an expectant mother or for that niece or granddaughter you love so much.
Your favorite sweater has been re-designed! The pattern now includes an extra PDF that has a cardi and a jacket version; it also includes a lace front option. Also new are the various sizes (the original PDF only had two sizes). When you purchase the pattern, you will get the Original Wrapped-About PDF AND the Re-Wrapped-About PDF. :-)
