Knitting: Cardigan
This is a more feminine cardigan. A combination of stranded with 2 colors in a floral design, and a choice to use one of 3 twisted cable stitches, over 2 stitches. Or can be make with plain stockinette on the bottoms of sleeves and body. I give complete instruction how to do these cables NOT using a cable needle.

Pullover knitted with steeks, in the round. All instruction included with charts and photos. Includes 3 color twined cast on and Finnish double purl trim. Two Fjord ponies in a field of flowers.

These mittens will match the Wild Blue Horses sweater which will have the pattern released about the end of May. They can easily be made larger by using US #3 needles. Full instruction is given for the “double purl” border and twined 3 color cast on. Just a scrap of the lightest blue yarn is needed and less than 1 ball each of the other colors....

Quaker Sampler Cap to match Quaker Sampler pullover and mittens. Crown has a lacy swirl. Earlaps optional. Pattern used 1 skein of background only by using scrap of softer yarn for lining. Only about .5ball of plum color needed and very small amt of mauve and green. Easily knit.

It begins with corrugated rib, has a small cable and finishes with fair isle. Quaker patterns are inspired by the schoolgirl embroidery of the Ackworth school in England in the late 1800’s-early 1900’s.

Hat may be made smaller using 2.5mm needle or large with 3.25mm needle. Trim includes twined braid, instruction given. I used #406 tan for main color,

I knit it tight on purpose for warmth. The fair isle pattern has a traveling stitch across the star and twined braid on the cuff of mitten.
