“Gather Round” - gather all those leftovers from projects already knit. Gather all those itty bitty ends from shawls loved and cherished. Gather all those precious nuggets of yarn from socks you just can’t bear to throw away. Gather them round and create a beautiful cowl that only you will have to keep or gift to someone special.

The Glen Walk Socks started life on a visit to Glenarm Forest in Co Antrim. As I walked through the glen, I felt the speckles in the yarn reflected the colours I was seeing all around me. The socks are knit from the toe up with a simple ribbed eyelet pattern on the front of the foot and leg, an easy pattern to memorise and take out and about if...

The New Season Socks were inspired by the first signs of spring. They have a cable pattern growing up the centre of the front of the foot and leg, with garter stitch and a mock rib either side. The back of the leg has been left plain stocking stitch, but the stitch pattern from the front of the leg could be incorporated into the back too.
