The joy of brioche for me is watching a pattern develop. As I stretched out the rounds between increases and decreases on this hat, a plant-like structure appeared. The taller it grew, the more it reminded me of a kelp forest. I hope you enjoy watching the growth of your own Kelp Forest Hat as you knit.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl gives you an opportunity to work two-color brioche in the round with worsted weight yarn. A cushy warm cowl that shows off your favorite color choices will be the result! This pattern uses one brioche increase and two brioche decreases. Video links are provided in the pattern.

Like many things in life, knitting requires patience. Knitting can help us learn to live more patiently and enjoy the space that doing so creates. While we all can enjoy a beautiful finished object, I would bet that the reason most of us knit is not for the finished object alone.
Knitting: Headband
This brioche headband is a great way to stash bust or try brioche without a huge commitment! Using a small amount of each MC and CC, you’ll feel completely justified for keeping those small balls of leftover yarn.
