’A Cardigan’ is as simple as that - an easy top-down cardigan with a bit of boxy, cropped length, and longer sleeves to make it oh-so versatile and wearable.

3 different sizes are made from 3 different gauges. Please choose the right yarn/gauge for your size. (Please note that the yarn choices given above are mainly for Size 1 or 2.)

I grew up wearing this shape of Ski Hat - they’re called ‘IKA BO’ (’squid hat’) in Japanese because of their shape :)

Skinny stripes are worked with “Jogless stripe technique”.

I first knit this hat over 10 years ago with a fingerling weight yarn but felt it was a bit too much to repeat the same wave pattern with a thin yarn, so had never finished writing the pattern. Diagonal design adds an interesting color blocked look and not so boring with all the stockinette stitches. I designed this shawl to be a very easy project. YO increasing method is so much easier than those M1 increases :)

12/5/2014 - I have changed needle size for ribbing from US#10 to US#9. Some people had a hard time to knit tight with big yarn.

NAMI means wave in Japanese. The small ruffles add a fun touch like small waves on the beach.

This vest is a very relaxed fit in the front. The length of the front may vary depending on your body type and the yarn you choose to knit with. In addition, the front will be approx 6”~7”longer than the back. For a closer fit, you can use a shawl pin to put the two front together.
