Crochet: Pillow / Cushion
This pattern can be used as a pillow case/form or join it with other 40-window squares to create a custom blanket. It uses the inverse colors of the Chained Ponds blanket and is only a small portion of the blanket design. Buy the blanket and pillow set and get an automatic discount (add to cart to see it!)

Will you use this with the Firetruck 40 or does it need a few smaller squares, like Dumptruck 20?
Crochet: Afghan block
Use this as the front of a pillow or join it to other squares to create your own custom blanket! There is a slight difference in the finished flamingo depending on which technique you use; the flamingo is solid when done in overlay mosaic, and follows the normal interlocking stitches when done in that technique.

Crochet: Throw
This is my 200th pattern on Ravelry! Visually, it looks like a repeating pattern. But the section moves down a few rows each time so there is actually no short, repeatable section.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
This is the central motif in my Lucky Stars Throw blanket. It would make a great pillow to match. Or use it as a small baby blanket. Or create multiple panels and join them together.

I hope you can wrap yourself in lucky stars and have a great year! You can also grab the pattern for just the repeatable center motif: Lucky Stars Square.

Crochet: Placemat
This is my first pattern that asks for a thin yarn and small hook. Depending on where you’re from you may call this fingering weight, 4-ply, or 1 - super fine. I used a discontinued yarn from my stash but have suggested a nice cotton yarn above.

Wikipedia says that January was actually not named after the god “Janus” but it is a common misconception. Janus is the god of beginnings and is usually depicted as having two faces. I gave my gnome’s hat two tassels to represent that.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The true fantasy of this image is seeing stars above a big city - no pollution! The large stars form the libra constellation; no special reasoning, I just thought it was simple enough to fit.
