This shawl was actually the inspiration for the Juste Millieu Cowl.

This design was created using Done Roving DK Gradient Builds. You could probably use different yarn but why would you want to? The experts at Done Roving provide the exact yardage and the perfect color combinations. No need to struggle with yarn color choices, they do the hard work for you!

I found this phrase on a google search. It means “happy medium” and that is the perfect description for this cowl. Mostly garter stitch with a lace edge that consists of a simple 6 row repeat, it combines the best of both worlds. Garter stitch with just enough edging to keep the knitting interesting but not overwhelming.
