Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This lovely stole is a riff on Bakau and Jamie’s Shawl -- some swags, a little mesh, some fabulous, billowy borders. Serangoon is quite lacy, almost ornate and yet it has a contemporary stylised look.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Elegant and stylish with a spectacular lace border, this top-down semi-circularish shawl transitions from stocking stitch to the billowing border all in single rows. A lacy edging is knitted along as you go. Shaping is made by paired increases -- for comparison: Tiong Bahru1 is a bit more crescent-y than Bakau.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap

The idea for this shawl materialized while I was winding the skeins on das Autobahn… on June 9 or so.( I may delay getting my driver’s license renewed… the passenger seat is conducive to knitting)
